Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. It is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through service to others. Members of the Kiwanis International family, Key Club members build themselves as they build their schools and communities.

The school, renamed from its previous Arlington Mill High School, has moved across the parking lot from the Arlington Career Center to a two-story stand-alone facility formerly occupied by county public-health offices and known then as the Fenwick Center.

Kervin Abimael Galdamez Carranza, a student at Arlington Community High School, who was awarded an $8,000 stipend spread over four semesters. He plans to attend Northern Virginia Community College and major in business management, with the goal of opening his own business one day.
